Show and Hide Interventions
Overview
Chronicler offers interventions for a broad range of modalities, however you might not use all these interventions in your practice if you specialize in a particular modality (e.g. “Cognitive Behavioral Therapy”).
We designed Chronicler so that you can easily choose which interventions are shown, based on the modalities that you use.
In this article, we’ll explain how this feature works (with examples), and walk through showing and hiding interventions by modality.
How does it work?
Chronicler knows which interventions correspond to a particular modality, and it will display those interventions in the ‘Interventions’ step of the note builder. Consider the following example:
“Jackie helps many of her clients by using interventions from C.B.T. (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy). Since a progress note documents a client’s session, Jackie knows that she’ll need C.B.T. interventions enabled in Chronicler. She finds the “My Settings” page, and checks the box for ‘Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)’. Now CBT interventions will be displayed in the ‘Interventions’ step for Jackie to use.”
Conversely, Chronicler can also hide interventions for modalities that you do not need. This keeps your ‘Interventions’ options focused, and can help you compose progress notes faster. Consider the following example:
“Jackie rarely uses interventions from I.m.T.T. (Image Transformation Therapy), and she doesn’t want them to appear in the note builder. She finds the “My Settings” page, and unchecks the box for “Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT). Chronicler will hide those interventions, so Jackie won’t be distracted by them as she is creating her notes.”
How to show or hide interventions
Login to Chronicler.
Click the three vertical lines in the upper left hand corner of your screen to open the Menu.
Choose ‘My Settings’ to go to your settings.
Check the checkbox for a modality to show interventions for that modality in the note builder (or uncheck the box to hide them).
That’s it! The note builder will only show interventions for your selected modalities.
