Overview
By default, Chronicler’s “smart search” algorithm dynamically arranges the list of statement options for each step. This approach is advantageous to minimize scrolling and hunting for statements that you often use, but if you prefer, you can enable “custom statement ordering” and fully control the order in which statements appear in the lists.
How to enable custom ordering
Logon to Chronicler at https://chronicler.therapyshelf.com
Click the 3 bars icon in the upper left corner to open the menu, and choose “My Settings.”
Scroll down to the “Smart Search” section, and enable the “Display statements in custom order” toggle.
You’re all set! When you go back to the note builder, Chronicler will no longer automatically order the statements.
How to change the order of statements for a step
In the note builder, click the “Customize” button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Click the gold button with 4 horizontal bars to enter “drag and drop” mode for that step.
Click the “drag icon” (i.e. six dots to the left of the statement) for the statement that you wish to reorder.
Hold down your mouse, and drag it up or down the list to your desired placement.
Release the mouse, and you’ll see the statement “drop” into its new place on the list.
You’re all set! Chronicler will remember where that statement should appear on the list, and make sure it is displayed in the same position each time when you are on that step in the note builder.
